Preventive maintenance plans can greatly reduce the amount of printer related downtime, as well as reducing the overall number of printer failures each year.

Preventive maintenance plans can be setup for virtually any number of printers and the results are exponential to the number of printers covered. Preventive maintenance relies on the fact that a printer that has its major assemblies cleaned on a regular basis can be much more reliable than an unprotected printer with the same workload.

Most PM plans consist of a bi-annual or quarterly inspection & cleaning of most or all of the printers at your location. During a maintenance visit:

• Worn rollers, gears, and other assemblies are replaced, thereby avoiding more costly service calls and worse - machine downtime. 

• Optical systems are inspected for problems and cleaned if possible.

• The final step is a cleaning of the printers exterior covers & appropriate testing.
• We will advise when parts still have service time, but are nearing the end of service.
